Calling All Small Church Youth Pastors
Wednesday, 19th November 2008
If you are a youth pastor and you pastor a youth ministry that has less than 80 kids total (both jr high and sr high) I want to get your website/contact information by commenting below. I want to start rallying my small town youth pastors who are dedicated to small church youth ministry.
If you are a big church youth pastor it is okay….I still love ya.
Make sure to check out why small church youth ministry is the best! Check out post: Why Small Church?
Look at why small church ministry is limiting.

by the way, i love your site and articles…good thoughts!
It seems that you and I share a similar style of ministry within similar contexts.
Where is your church?
regarding your clarification about “multiple youth ministries”, I actually think you and I are saying the same thing, just using different words.
I haven’t seen Marko’s idea fully implemented well though as a complete substitute for current youth ministry programs, only as ad-ons like small groups (as you mentioned)
Ministering that way would certainly be youth ministry, but might not be considered “youth group” by some..and that might be a necessary change

Now, have you defined what counts as a small town?
I’m in a town of about 80,000 – but I think my youth group (size-wise) is comparable to a small-town youth group.
So…am I in or out?
